There are many entrances into the Warpblade Tunnels, and these can be found within the basements of the Blowhole Tavern and the Reikland Arms by inquisitive or foolish adventurers.<br />

The members of the Warpblade clan squeak and chitter in the eldritch light cast by veins of Warpstone. They are wary and vigilant, and they do not suffer intruders to live.</p>

<h1>EVE Online: Shield Tanking vs. Armor Tanke</h1>

<p>To keep your ship alive in<strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/EVE-online-c-7.html"> EVE</a></strong>, you must have a tank. You can do this two different ways. You can shield tank, or you can armor tank. To decide which one is right for you, take a look at your character’s skills. The two categories you’re going to want to look at are Engineering and Mechanics. If you have more skill points in Engineering, shield tanking is probably best for you. If you have more skill points in Mechanics, go with armor tanking.</p>
<p>When dealing with shield tanking, there are some skills to pay attention to. Every ship has resistances to the four damage types dealt in the Eve universe. There’s EM, Kinetic, Explosive, and Thermal. So, the four most important skills to have for shield tanking are: EM Shield Compensation, Kinetic Shield Compensation, Explosive Shield Compensation, and Thermic Shield Compensation. These skills boost your resistances to each type of damage. Some other important skills to have are: Shield Compensation, Shield Management, Shield Operation, Shield Upgrades, and Tactical Shield Manipulation.</p>
<p>Shield Compensation reduces the capacitor need for shield boosters, which is important because shield boosters take up a lot of capacitor power. Shield Management gives a bonus to your shield capacity, meaning more shield strength. Shield Operation is a crucial skill to have because it allows you to use shield boosters and other basic shield modules. It also gives you a bonus to shield recharge rate. Shield Upgrades allow you to use modules like shield extenders and rechargers.</p>
<p>Tactical Shield Manipulation is another very important skill to have because it allows you to use shield hardeners and it reduces the chance of damage penetrating the shield when it falls below 25%. Some other skills that will help you are: Energy Management and Energy Systems Operation.</p>
<p>Energy Management regulates your ship&#8217;s overall capacity and gives a bonus to the capacitor&#8217;s capacity. Energy Systems Operation allows you to operate your ship&#8217;s capacitor, including the use of capacitor boosters. <a class="keywordlink" title="cheap eve isk" href="http://www.ogeworld.com/EVE-online-c-7.html" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><strong>EVE isk sale</strong></span></a>This skill also reduces your capacitor&#8217;s recharge time.</p>
<p>Another important aspect of shield tanking is what modules you use. Each ship has a certain number of high power, medium power, and low power slots. When it comes to shield tanking, concentrate on the medium power slots. Modules such as shield hardeners, extenders, shield booster, boost amplifiers, and resist amplifiers are all modules that will be fitted on a medium power slot.  Which ones you use are the key. You have to find a balance between how much your resistances are and how fast your shield recharges. Here is a list of all shield modules that will be useful to you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Shield boosters convert energy from your capacitor into shield power, meaning it gives you more shield while taking from your capacitor power.</li>
<li>Shield extenders boost the strength of the shield.</li>
<li>Shield flux coils increase the shield recharge rate but lowers your maximum shield capacity.</li>
<li>Shield hardeners, are in my opinion, the best to use. They give increase to damage resistances.</li>
<li>Shield power relays increase the shield recharge rate by diverting power from the ship&#8217;s core, meaning it takes from your capacitor power.</li>
<li>Shield rechargers give an increase to the shield recharge rate. And Shield resistance amplifiers strengthens damage resistances.</li>
</ul>

<p>Armor tanking is a bit different. Instead of focusing so much on shield strength and resistances, you look at armor strength and resistances. While shield tankers have shield boosters and boost amplifiers, armor tankers have armor repairers, but one thing both shield and armor tankers have in common is the need for CPU!</p>
<p>While shield tankers focus on Engineering, armor tankers are all about Mechanics. This is the skill category to take a look at when armor tanking. The most important skills to have for armor tanking are: EM Armor Compensation, Explosive Armor Compensation, Kinetic Armor Compensation, Thermic Armor Compensation, Hull Upgrades, and Repair Systems.</p>

<p>The first four are pretty self explanatory. They give damage resistance to each type of damage, just like in shield tanking. Hull Upgrades allows you to maintain your ship’s armor and install hull upgrades such as cargo expanders and inertial stabilizers. It also gives a bonus to your armor strength. Repair Systems is very important because it allows you to operate armor or hull repair modules. It also gives a reduction in repair systems duration.</p>
<p>Some other skills to have for armor tanking are: Energy Grid Upgrades, Energy Management, and Energy Systems Operation.</p>
<p>Energy Grid Upgrades allows you to install power upgrades such as capacitor batteries and power diagnostic units. It also gives a reduction in CPU needs of modules requiring the skill.</p>
<p>Energy Management and Energy Systems Operation are also used in shield tanking. Energy Management gives a bonus to your capacitor’s capacity and Energy Systems Operation allows you to use modules such as capacitor boosters.</p>
<p>Once you have the right skills, you need the right modules. This is where armor tanking differs greatly from shield tanking. Before we talked about different powered slots on your ship. Shield tankers concentrate on medium power slots. Well, armor tankers concentrate on low power slots. Here is a list of the most important modules in armor tanking. Armor hardeners, Energized plating, and resistance plating all give a bonus to damage resistance. Armor plates give an increase to your armor strength. Armor repair systems, are in my opinion the most important module in armor tanking. It allows you to repair your armor. Damage Controls give a bonus to resistances for shield, armor and hull.</p>
<p>Other important modules to use for armor tanking are: Capacitor batteries, capacitor boosters, capacitor power relays, capacitor rechargers, and power diagnostic units.</p>
<p>Capacitor batteries and capacitor boosters both give a bonus to your ship’s capacitor capacity. Capacitor power relays increase your capacitor recharge time at the expense of your shield boosting capabilities. But no worries, if you are armor tanking, you have no need for shield boosters. Capacitor rechargers boost your capacitor recharge rate and power diagnostic units give a bonus to your shield and capacitor.</p>
<p>So, as you can see, whether you’re shield tanking or armor tanking, you need skills and modules. Also, you need a strategy. There’s a way to defeat everything, and a way to protect yourself from everything. But, you can’t protect yourself from everything all at once. Modules and skills can provide a good tank but having a strategy can keep you alive when your tank might not. <a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/EVE-online-c-7.html"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;">Cheap EVE ISK</span></strong></a><span style="font-family: Arial;"> </span>Always stay one step ahead of your opponent. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s hard to believe that it’s been four years since Blizzard first opened the gates of Azeroth and let players become a part of the <strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/">World of Warcraft</a></strong>. And yet, here we are. It was November 23rd, 2004 when Blizzard’s immensely popular <strong>MMO</strong> first went live, and the company is honoring the occasion by giving out presents to everyone who logs into the game today to celebrate.<br />
<strong>WoW players</strong> who log into the game today will be greeted with a new achievement, “WoW’s 4th Anniversary”, as well as a new letter waiting in their character’s mailbox, which reads:<br />
“Did you know that <strong>World of Warcraft</strong> is now four years old?<br />

<p>I&#8217;ve had a lot of playtime during the Thanksgiving break thus far and I&#8217;ve spent it between <strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/Warhammer-Online-c-239.html">Warhammer gold</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/">WoW gold</a></strong> . It&#8217;s time for a bit of an update/adventure log of my experiences in these two very different games.<br />
Happy Fun Guyz and my Shaman have been officially moved to Dark Crag.  Many members of HFG returned to play together on our new server over the past couple of days with hopes that it would reignite our excitement for the our Destruction characters.  Most of us abadoned our characters in the T4 range when we made the switch to Phoenix Throne Order.  While we still like those characters, and some of us still play them on occasion, we&#8217;ve always yearned for the opportunity to continue our Destruction roots.</p>
<p>Dark Crag is full of players!  The T4 RvR areas have all been populated very heavily with players.  This afternoon I was in Dragonwake trying to take back our keep when we recieved word that another zerg of Destruction was planning to push Kadrin Valley and flip it into Fortress contention.  To have the numbers we had RvRing in Dragonwake AND another group large enough to begin flipping another region like that was realy cool to hear.  We had a war going, for the first time, on two fronts.</p>

<p>An interesting observation is that scenarios seem to be popping very slowly on Dark Crag.  This is actually a good sign because of how populated the RvR areas have become.   A buddy of mine (Teleth) pointed out that it&#8217;s probably due to the low renown earned by players severel RR&#8217;s higher than those they kill.  This makes players more enclined to open RvR where they can get chunks of renown.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, HFG has still not received its transfer level/renown.  I&#8217;m quite frustrated by this and hope that after the CSR&#8217;s are back from their holiday they&#8217;ll see to it everything is worked out.  This is but a blemish on the overall positive experience on Dark Crag.  With the RvR changes coming soon things should really start to look up in <a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/Warhammer-Online-c-239.html">WAR</a>.  I&#8217;m anxious for RvR itemization changes to go in so that I can stop having to worry about this nagging feeling in the back of my mind to PvE to gear-up.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m up to level 64 now in <strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/">WoW cd key</a></strong> and making my way through the content quite nicely.  My partner in crime (Bartlebe, aka Volkmaar) and I started our experience as newbie DK&#8217;s (lvl 55) and have worked our way so far through all of Hellfire Penninsula and almost all of Zangarmarsh.  We were around level 62.5 by the time we finished Hellfire and honestly weren&#8217;t at all sad to see it behind us.  The overall leveling experience there was very painless but the scenery did grow a bit old&#8230; and red&#8230; and old.  The questing there was extremely generous to us and we walked away with a few gear upgrades.</p>

<p>Having been designed from its earliest stages specifically as a MMOG, most of the game systems are devised to minimize network traffic and the effects of lag. This high-level approach makes EVE relatively unaffected by Internet latency.</p>
<p>7.4 How is the game logic implemented in <a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/EVE-online-c-7.html"><strong>EVE</strong></a>?</p>
<p>EVE uses a special Stackless version of Python for both the server and the client. This makes for a much simpler creation of game logic than what was available in the past. The control structures provided by Stackless allow for a more ?procedural syncronous? model, rather than an ?event driven asynchronous,? or thread pooling.</p>
<p>In more simplified terms, this means that a large number of actors can perform tiny tasks without the added complexity or overhead of the other two execution models. Our game logic scripters are thereby freed from many of the mundane tasks associated with models that don?t benefit from the control structures provided by Stackless. The creative process of writing interesting game behavior is no longer bogged down by software or system limitations.</p>
<p>This approach also means that making changes to the game is much easier than it has been historically. Many improvements or tweaks can be added even when the world is online and going strong without the need to reboot the servers. This process is called a hot fix.</p>

<p>7.5 How are the servers set up and how does the server architecture work?</p>
<p>There is a centralized server cluster, located in London, with several proprietary proxy (slave) servers. The proxy servers have dedicated bandwidth to the central cluster. The proxy servers take some of the load off the game logic servers in the cluster by doing data integrity checks and virtual multicasting, making them ? in a sense ? a software router.</p>
<p>This server architecture, together with clever game design, allows us to have more players, distributed over greater geographical distances, together in the same world, breaking records held by our predecessors in the MMOG genre.</p>

I&#8217;ve had my issues with certain MMORPG games, and despite everyone&#8217;s claims that I am a Blizzard fan boy, I recently bought and enjoy the new<strong> <a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/Warhammer-Online-c-239.html">Warhammer Online</a></strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/Warhammer-Online-c-239.html">.</a> I&#8217;ll write about that particular torrid affair at a later date, but suffice it to say I was off being a Dwarf in a never-ending war when I saw a little note from a friend. Here&#8217;s what it said:</p>
<p>“You need to get back on WoW, there&#8217;s a zombie outbreak.”<strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/">buy cheap wow gold</a></strong></p>
<p>I goggled at the email a bit, and wrote back with questions. I couldn&#8217;t wait for that answer, though. I ran off to the Internet and discovered that yes, Virginia, there were zombies and that those zombies were World of Warcraft players who were getting infected, turning, and infecting/attacking other players. This wasn&#8217;t some limited event where only players in a certain zone could become zombies, or you could only be a zombie once or for a limited amount of time.</p>
<p>No, this was Romero-level, 1970&#8217;s Italian, Army of Darkness medieval fantasy zombie carnage designed to promote the upcoming <strong>Wrath of the Lich King</strong> expansion.</p>
<p>Players from the two factions that put the “war” in “Warcraft,” the Horde and the Alliance, cannot communicate with one another. They don&#8217;t share the same cities (Shattrath aside) and only meet on the field of combat or in passing. If I have an issue with someone, or need to speak with someone playing on the other side, I have to log out of my current character (or toon in the parlance of the game) and log in to a character in the other side of the war.</p>
<p>These rules don&#8217;t matter when you&#8217;re a zombie. Players from the Horde and Alliance dropped their rivalries and came together for one purpose while under the sway of the Lich King: destruction. Major cities became ghost towns as zombies rampaged through the streets, killing everything and everyone in their way. Players banded together to fight off the zombie menage, dropping longstanding class warfare issues for survival. It was complete and utter madness.</p>
<p>I loved every single minute of it. When I was a zombie, my goal was to infect as many people as possible. When I was my normal character (a paladin—holy warriors that use the power of the Light to combat the forces of evil and who have multiple skills useful only against the undead), my goal was to get out there and slaughter as many zombies as I could before the disease took me. I have never had as much fun playing WoW as I did in the week-long event in which zombies ran rampant throughout Azeroth. In the week after the zombie plague was cured, certain zones still come under attack from non-player zombies, though players can&#8217;t become zombies anymore.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve played <strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/">WoW cd key</a></strong> for two years and the zombie outbreak is the first time I&#8217;ve ever really felt immersed in the world. You never knew what was going to happen when you logged in. Would things be fine, and you could quest and do Hallows&#8217; End events like normal, or would you log in to find the capital cities of the world overrun by brain-hungry corpses? For the first time in a genre that depends solely on scripted events, where characters pace the same paths and spout the same meaningless dialog, there was some legitimate excitement and, dare I say it, danger!</p>
<p>Certainly the unpredictable nature of the event coupled with <strong><a href="http://www.ogeworld.com/">WoW europe gold</a></strong>&#8217;s massive player base created a lot of the fun of the zombies for me (as did the fact that Blizzard has completely changed how my favorite class operates while finally giving me a reason to use all those cool anti-zombie powers paladins have). It begs the question, given the amount of zombie fans out there and the dearth of good non-fantasy <strong>MMORPG</strong>s, could a zombie-world online game work?</p>
<p>Maybe it&#8217;s the zombie fanatic in me, but I think it totally could work.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t think Romero&#8217;s name has the cachet it once did to sell this sort of thing, but the Resident Evil series does. Make it console and computer compatible, so players on the PS3 and Xbox 360 work alongside the serious MMO gamer and get the biggest install base possible. For instances and raids, change the settings to familiar tropes, like a housing project full of zombies or a shopping mall. For raid bosses, perhaps have some more powerful zombies or larger groups of zombies. As characters level up and progress, the leveling zones can go from a deserted farmland environment to a densely-packed city (or cities) where players have a modicum of protection from the outside world, but have to travel through subterranean tunnels to enter and exit.</p>
<p>I think the mechanics of a MMORPG, like solo players versus groups, player versus player settings where guilds or gangs compete for the same resources (or giving people the option to play zombies in PVP like Lord of the Rings Online does), and all the rest of the things we deal with in our games can work in any setting with a little adaptation, but I think the unique world of the zombie apocalypse is one of the best suited for the <strong>MMORPG</strong> play style. There are enough elements at play in that game world to provide a rich, full experience of point and click killing, mindlessly grinding reputation with various factions, and praying for cool loot drops.</p>
<p>Make this happen, game design geniuses. I want guns and bats and bullets in the brain. I want to mow down corpses with machine guns. I want to raid decaying cities and team up with ten of my closest friends for some undead-smashing action! I think I&#8217;m not alone in this, either.</p>

There were only a few pockets of Alliance resistance forces left. One such group, consisting primarily of high elves, was led by the last of the Sunstrider dynasty: Prince Kael&#8217;thas. Kael, an accomplished wizard himself, grew wary of the failing Alliance. The high elves grieved for the loss of their homeland and decided to call themselves blood elves in honor of their fallen people. Yet as they worked to keep the Scourge at bay, they suffered greatly at being cut off from the Sunwell that had empowered them. Desperate to find a cure for his people&#8217;s racial addiction to magic, Kael did the unthinkable: he embraced his people&#8217;s Highborne ancestry and joined with Illidan and his naga in hopes of finding a new magical power source upon which to feed. The remaining Alliance commanders condemned the blood elves as traitors and cast them out for good. </P><br />
<P>With no place left to go, Kael and his blood elves followed Lady Vashj to Outland to help contest the warden, Maiev, who had recaptured Illidan. With the combined naga and blood elf forces, they managed to defeat Maiev and free Illidan from her grasp. Based in Outland, Illidan gathered his forces for a second strike against the Lich King and his fortress of Icecrown. </P><br />

<P><BR>During the Legion&#8217;s invasion of Ashenvale, Illidan was released from his barrow prison after ten thousand years of captivity. Though he sought to appease his comrades, he soon reverted to true form and consumed the energies of a powerful warlock artifact known as the Skull of Gul&#8217;dan. By doing so, Illidan developed demonic features and vastly magnified power. He also gained some of Gul&#8217;dan&#8217;s old memories - especially those of the Tomb of Sargeras, the island dungeon rumored to hold the remains of the Dark Titan, Sargeras. </P><br />
<P>Bristling with power and free to roam the world once more, Illidan set out to find his own place in the great scheme of things. However, Kil&#8217;jaeden confronted Illidan and made him an offer he could not refuse. Kil&#8217;jaeden was angered by Archimonde&#8217;s defeat at Mount Hyjal, but he had greater concerns than vengeance. Sensing that his creation, the Lich King, was growing too powerful to control, Kil&#8217;jaeden ordered Illidan to destroy Ner&#8217;zhul and put an end to the undead Scourge once and for all. In exchange, Illidan would receive untold power and a true place amongst the remaining lords of the Burning Legion. </P><br />
<P>Illidan agreed and immediately set out to destroy the Frozen Throne, the icy crystal cask in which the Lich King&#8217;s spirit resided. Illidan knew that he would need a mighty artifact to destroy the Frozen Throne. Using the knowledge he had gained from Gul&#8217;dan&#8217;s memories, Illidan decided to seek out the Tomb of Sargeras and claim the Dark Titan&#8217;s remains. He called in some old Highborne debts and lured the serpentine naga from their dark undersea lairs. Led by the cunning witch Lady Vashj the naga helped Illidan reach the Broken Isles, where Sargeras&#8217; Tomb was rumored to be located. </P><br />
<P>As Illidan set out with the naga, Warden Maiev Shadowsong began to hunt him. Maiev had been Illidan&#8217;s jailor for ten thousand years and relished the prospect of recapturing him. However, Illidan outsmarted Maiev and her Watchers and succeeded in claiming the Eye of Sargeras despite their efforts. With the powerful Eye in his possession, Illidan traveled to the former wizard-city of Dalaran. Strengthened by the city&#8217;s ley power lines, Illidan used the Eye to cast a destructive spell against the Lich King&#8217;s citadel of Icecrown in distant Northrend. Illidan&#8217;s attack shattered the Lich King&#8217;s defenses and ruptured the very roof of the world. At the final moment, Illidan&#8217;s destructive spell was stopped when his brother Malfurion and the Priestess Tyrande arrived to aid Maiev. </P><br />
<P>Knowing that Kil&#8217;jaeden would not be pleased with his failure to destroy the Frozen Throne, Illidan fled to the barren dimension known as Outland: the last remnants of Draenor, the orcs&#8217; former homeworld. There he planned to evade Kil&#8217;jaeden&#8217;s wrath and plan his next moves. After they succeeded in stopping Illidan, Malfurion and Tyrande returned home to Ashenvale Forest to watch over their people. Maiev, however, would not quit so easily, and followed Illidan to Outland, determined to bring him to justice. </P></p>
